Po Yan Leung is an Asian American artist based in Los Angeles, holding a BFA in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design. Her work draws inspiration from alchemy and lullabies, expressed through delicate two-color pen and ink drawings, often accented with subtle gilding.
Through her practice, Po Yan creates whimsical narratives filled with magical adventures and fantastical creatures—stories that gently speak to the child within all of us.
Each piece begins as a traditional pen and ink drawing on watercolor paper. The original artwork is then carefully scanned at high resolution for preservation and reproduction. Prints are produced using archival inks on fine art paper, with each one thoughtfully reviewed to ensure the highest quality before packaging.
